The Dog & Gun, Earl Shilton

The evening of Wednesday 20th August saw the regular CAMRA goers at The Dog & Gun at Earl Shilton.  In recognition of the high standards of beer quality maintained by Barry Page, the licensee, Keith presented Wendy and Barry with the coveted award “Pub Of The Month” for August 2003.

After a few sarcastic but joking comments from his regular customers, Barry thanked us for recognising all his hard work. If Barry looks after his garden as well as his beer in the next year, he will probably win the Wolverhampton & Dudley “Pub Flower Display” or at least end up as a finalist again.
