this! Ripley, Ashover, Matlock Bath and Holbrook, but any other
suggestions welcome.

A
trip to The Chilterns
"fancy pub name tour" .
Looking a starting off at the "Land of Liberty, Peace and Plenty" at
Heronsgate, Herts (just off the M25 near Chorleywood). Then to the
"Royal Standard of England" at Forty Green, Bucks. Then to the Whip
Inn at Lacey Green, and the nearby Wheel at Naphill, who are holding
a joint beer festival that weekend. Might have time to fit another
place in, so again, any suggestions welcomed. Chiltern Brewery has
quite a good shop for "take-outs". |

Saturday 7th July 2012 |
"The Seasider" Hull and Cleethorpes. A much
requested trip to Hull, where there are some good pubs in the
historic old town. Cleethorpes has two "refreshment rooms" on the
station and the Willy's brewpub. A nice summer seasider! |

Branch Meetings: are held in
City Centre pubs and commence at 8pm. Members attending should
bring their CAMRA membership card. All business is through the
meeting Chairman. |

Committee Meetings: are held
in City Centre pubs and commence at 8pm. Members may attend to
observe the meeting only. Non committee members' participation
is at the discretion of the meeting Chairman. |

Survey Trips: are run to
survey pubs for the Good Beer Guide and check beer quality. They
depart by minibus from Humberstone Gate at 7.30pm and return
members to a location near their home address afterwards. These
are not leisurely drinking trips and aim to visit several pubs
in one area for no longer than 15 - 20 mins per pub. Please
contact Keith Williams 07989 272717 to attend. |

Social Trips: are run to
visit interesting places including pubs, breweries and beer
festivals. They depart from Humberstone Gate at an advertised
time and always aim to be back in Leicester no later than 10pm.
Trips are open to non CAMRA members as well as members. A
deposit of £5 or full payment is required before the departure
